ADAC stands for Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club e. V., which is the largest automobile club in Germany. It is a non-profit organization and the largest automotive association in Europe and the third-largest in the world. ADAC's technical center conducts tests on various mobility products, including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and also includes car seats.

What is ADAC?

Cybex places great importance on the safety of babies when using car seats. Most of the safety car seats have passed the European R44 safety standard. However, the latest car safety seat regulations is R129, and the regulations are more stringent than before. These include: children under 15 months old must use rear-facing car seat, the design of head rest and seat side wings should be strengthened to ensure that they pass the side impact test, and the "Isofix" should be adopted.
