In 1961, Björn Jakobson created the first baby carrier in Sweden, beginning BabyBjörn's warm connection with families worldwide. We firmly believe that design must start from the real needs of babies and parents. Every product is developed in close collaboration with pediatricians and midwives, and undergoes the most rigorous safety testing.
The name "Björn" means "bear" in Swedish — symbolizing strength, safety, and gentle protection. For over 60 years, we have focused on a few select categories: baby carriers, bouncers, highchairs — but we make each one exceptional, becoming a trusted icon for parents globally.
